Cali Vibes welcomes all people with disabilities. We are dedicated to continually improving our efforts to ensure attendees have access to all festival goods and services, regardless of ability.
It is not acceptable to fake or exaggerate a disability to gain access to disability accommodations. Our ADA department has finite resources and needs to focus these resources on helping those who legitimately require assistance.
There will be an Accessibility Services Hub conveniently located inside the festival grounds to support and address the needs of all attendees with accessibility needs. This location will be labeled on the guest facing map when released. There is no ADA pre-registration before the event - this is all done onsite at the event.
At the Accessibility Services Hub, you can:
Disabled attendees wishing to utilize some of the accessibility services at Cali Vibes will be required to wear an ADA Wristband. This wristband is acquired onsite at our Accessibility Services location. There is not an “ADA ticket” that needs to be purchased in order to utilize accessibility services at Cali Vibes.
If a disabled attendee wants to switch their companion, a new ADA Companion Wristband can be exchanged by bringing the old companion wristband back to the Accessibility Services Hub to be reissued.
We encourage patrons with mobility disabilities to utilize personal forms of transportation, including wheelchairs and scooters. Crutches, walkers and canes are also permitted. Please note that we will not be renting assisted mobility devices onsite.
ACCESSIBLE ROUTES
The Venue is navigable for people with mobility disabilities. Be advised that the venue is held on both grassy and cement terrain. Guests will need to traverse throughout the festival grounds between stages independently or with the assistance of a companion as the festival does not provide transportation between stages. If you need assistance finding your most accessible route around the event, please visit us at the Accessibility Services Hub.
CHARGING
If you need to recharge your motorized wheelchair or other medical equipment, you may do so at the Accessibility Services Hub.
There will be limited ADA parking for guests with disabilities located near the main festival entrance on the south side of E Shoreline Dr, from the Convention Center Walkway to just before Shoreline Village Dr. Keep an eye out for ADA parking signage labeling this angled street parking. These parking spots will be available for attendees with a valid Disabled Person Parking placard, permit or license plate, as well as the applicable proof that it belongs to them. This parking is free of charge and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Additional ADA parking may be available at the Alamitos Beach Lot at 380 E Shoreline Dr, Long Beach, CA 90802. Please note that this parking lot is a further distance from the festival entrance.
VERIFICATIONS
To utilize ADA Parking, you must have:
It is against the law to park in an accessible parking space without the required credentials, or to fraudulently use credentials in order to gain access to Accessible Parking.
Guests with disabilities can be dropped off by friends and family or a rideshare in the ADA Loading and Unloading zone located next to ADA parking on E Shoreline Dr.
There will be an ADA entry lane located at the main entrance, which will be labeled with signage. Disabled guests may use this lane to safely enter the venue. After using the ADA entry, please visit the Accessibility Services Hub immediately to inquire of further accessible services provided at the event.
There will be accessible viewing areas made available to ADA patrons and their one (1) companion at designated stages. For information on how to gain access to these areas, please visit us at the Accessibility Services Hub.
